The first thing that springs to mind, would be to buy a GPS unit...
By hooking the GPS up to the PC, with suitable software installed, you can have a moving map display. Several programs of that kind can be interfaced with Netstumbler. You can find more about that, by searching the forums, as well as reading the FAQ's.
