JanHerman: What's the problem with the USB adapter, are you having trouble making it work with NetStumbler? USB could be the way to go in your RV if you can get it up above the roofline. The range could probably be increased further with an antenna hack.

NinjaPablo: I wasn't aware of any USB-PCMCIA bridges other than the Orinoco unit until I saw one of these units from Zcomax on eBay the other day. Apparently it only works with their Xi-300 card and it didn't get any bids...
