My dad bought a NetGear wireless router a few weeks ago, and I'm trying to connect my laptop up to it. My wireless card recognizes the network and I get a good signal, but for some reason I can't connect to the internet through it. I downloaded NetStumbler hoping that might work, but I'm not sure what to do with the information it gives me. Like, I see that it is telling me the MAC addresses and channels and stuff, but I don't know how to use that to connect to my dad's network. Or perhaps, is there a simpler solution to do this? I'm usually pretty good with computers, but this problem is beyond my abilities. I'd really appreciate it is someone could help me out.
