Also a minor thing, if you go with a Yagi on a rotor even LMR400 wont like the twisting and turning much. It would probably strain the heck out of the N connector on the the yagi.
I am thinking I read that LMR400 is supposed to not have a sharper bend than like a one foot radius.
Get a big omni, 12db is a good number. We have a WISP moving in near and I believe they use 12db omnis on the there Mesh network.
