You need to define your environment -

You copied a 736,380,928 byte file in exactly 4 minutes - to your laptop hard drive - what's the source of the file, was it "local" or connected via a WAN link, was there any other network traffic on the same link, was there other network traffic on the wireless link.

Throughput will be limited by the smallest "pipe" or by congestion anywhere along the "pipe" regardless of it's size - you can also try Qcheck a free test utility.
