This post is kind of, really similar to the one that got tossed in the newbie bin but anyway:
I like the EnGenius NL-2511 series. They have a compact flash version (NL-2511CF) and 2 PCMCIA versions (NL-2511CD Plus, NL-2511CD Plus EXT2). The PCMCIA cards are more powerfull, but will also take more of a toll on you battery which can be a downer, especially on a moblie device like a Zarus. You could always go with the good ol' ORiNOCO, though personally I am a fan of the high power prism2.5s and Cisco Aironets.
Though it is best to formulate your own opinions by using the search engine of your choice (the search button at the top of the forum is dandy as well).
