How waterproof are antennae?

I just got my fab-corp magmount, and I wanna take it for a spin, but it's drizzling... will water damage it?

I think you should be ok, there is nothing "active" within the antenna, but you are putting voltage into it via your pigtail/card..., you may not pickup much in the rain, just make sure the water doesn't trickle down the cable and into your hardware, that would probably do much more damage...

Cool thanks, I'll wrap something absorbant around part of the cable.
