AP's subnet

I wanted to put my linksys ap into 192.168.0.1/16 but i cant. the subnet mask will only go to 255.255.255.0 :( can i do nothing about this?
oh well. i supose it wont kill me to not do this... but still why limit this?

systemd0wn,
/16 is a Class B subnet, and if I remember the RFC correctly 192.168.0.0 is by definition a Class C. It may be that the classes are in the Linksys firmware, and it won't allow an out-of-range entry. There is a Class B private IP range: 172.16.0.0. I'd suggest that you try that.
