Hardware/Software for Frequency Hopping 2.4ghz??

Postby dmzguy » Mon Apr 28, 2003 11:37 am

I have been finding several 2.4 ghz wireless products that are using the frequency hopping algorithms instead of DSS, does anyone know of any software that one can use to "stumble" the frequency hopping networks. If a software isn't feasible is there a hardware solution that is?

Thanks Ahead of Time,

There is no such software, AFAIK.

To do this you'll need an FH card. Then, you need to know the hop sequence for a particular network. (Although I suspect that many are left at the factory default values, just like DSSS gear.)

Hi,
Did a quick search & couldn't find anything on this (if someone else can please point me in the right direction ;))

Can you point me in the direction of FHSS hardware. Many thanks, it's just something I'm interested in.
