SHAZBOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lets just say I found the Gold mine of WAPs in a short drive around houston. Only a third of which were encrypted. I'll post a copy of the log & map later on tonight. I will take the same route later on with a co-stumbler & my patch. I can't wait............

Congrats CannonFotter and godsmoke... things are pretty thin in OC right now.. went wardriving in a high demographic area and found out that old people don't use APs.. ;) ... jotted that area as a dead zone for the next wwwd... we have quite a few gated communities too.. :(

OK Newbie ? here...

I was just in houston, and got 700+ in about 10 minutes, and somewhere near 5k in an hour -- from a hotel room.

However, I was unable to log onto any of them. Is is possible that the super-saturated network didn't allow my client software enough time to get that AP before another on the same channel replaced it?

I finally hit a new coffee shop there that had free wi-fi to get a connection.

Sounds like someone has been FakeAP'd

It also sounds like someone hasn't been paying attention to all of the times where this has been clearly stated to be ILLEGAL.

Well, at least you finally did something right.
When I was your age, television was called books. And this is a special book. It was the book my father used to read to me when I was sick, and I used to read it to your father. And today, I'm gonna read it to you.
