Hey Dave:
Great setup, like the last person that asked, could you tell me how you attached your pigtail to the Orinoco USB adapter? I've been walking/driving around with great difficulty worrying about the cable coming out. Thanks HogWylde |

i have one of the usb adapters. first just pry the base off the thing. there are 4 tiny clips molded into the cover.
inside, you'll find a normal orinoco card. just drill a hole in the top cover big enough for the pigtail to go thru and thread the pigtail thru the hole and into the orinoco card connector before snapping the base back on. or if you don't want to damage your casing you can just dump the whole guts of the thing into some other container...a plastic food container comes to mind as a cheap solution.

here are some photos of the insides so you can know what to expect:
http://www.frars.org.uk/cgi-bin/render.pl?pageid=1089 this thing is great since you just have a regular PC card inside. i pull the PCCARD out for use in my laptop...the thruput is much better. and the USB is handy for hooking up my desktop computer.
