I'm running a Dell Inspiron 8200 and an orinoco gold pcmcia card. 1.8ghz P4m/ 32mb Radeon 9000 agp graphics/ 30 gig hd.

Laptop is pretty powerful/fast, but after having it for 2 years the screen kinda wiggles (need to find out how to tighten the thing).
I want a 15" Powerbook whenever i can get the money.

128mb RAM
4GB HDD
DLink DWL-G630 NIC
Windows XP Pro

It's a reliable setup so long as the NIC doesn't go into time-freeze mode (aka start NS and its still finding AP's that it saw earlier in the day 100km away)

Garmin or Magellan seems to be the favs
and I see that Magellan has a new model called the Explorist which looks like it took the place of the Meridian GPS like I have..
