new wardriver in the house!
Well, I finally did it. After two week of nothing but researching these forums and sifting through seemingly endless Google searches I purchased a wireless card, and an antenna to begin wardriving. w00t!
I'm cheap (college student =P) so I ended up picking up an Enterasys RoamAbout(http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5702927819) card for $20 bucks total, and a 5.5db MC antenna (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5703930310) for $21.50. I'm running an HP ze4401us Pavilion with an XP-M 1.8ghz processor, 768RAM, and WinXP. The only bad part about my Wardriving Rig is my car, which guzzles gas like a student at a keg party. ~amishpurple |

When I was doing the party thing (many years ago, gasp) we used to drink the beer and leave the gas in the fuel tanks! What do you use the kegs for (seating)? ![]() Welcome to the world of wardriving! |
