Has anyone thought about this a bit more?
Netstumbler Geocaching? Setting up an AP at home with some sort of interesting content for those stumblers traveling through town to check out? When I get into the caffine, I get odd ideas.... |

Now that is a good idea, it also kind of legitimize our sport. Anything that does that I'm all for. But in my City the prize had better not be porn!
Are we will wind up on the wrong side of the bars.Grey

Funny, that...
Grey,
Funny, that... The very city that had Jerry Springer as a mayor now tries to moderate our moral codes. Anyhow, where've you been hiding? I've not heard from any of the crew that gathered at Riddle Market that one day. I've talked briefly to Sean and Chris, but that was a while back. (Hint hint if you're reading this guys...) Just FYI, the 2600 crew is meeting this Friday at Cody's Cafe on Calhoun St. around 6pm. Me and one of the guys have been working on a modified DirecTV dish 802.11b antenna. You should show up. -- l0ckd0wn |

I wonder what that dish would do to my gas mileage? Perhaps if I can get a sitter I'll drop in. If I don't make it, perhaps you can send me an e-mail and keep me informed? Have you played with NSSpyglass? It's a great little program to find out what your neighbors are up to. That and the new vxSniffer have been eating up my spare time the last few days. Grey

only 150 mb ? Dont you mean GB? I have been to LAN parties where some ppl had over 90gb of pr0n shared for download.. [in one party there was well over 400gb of pr0n]
PS yes... they had a 100mb switched lan, WLAN access points, and there was a clearly stated legal disclaimer that there could be "material inapporpraite for minors" at the location... (the pr0n had to be password protected, with the passwords only supposed to be given to ppl over 18)... |
