well what do you expect, I am a networker not an html programmer obviously...Second time using frontpage 2003. Besides content over flash, the site achieved its underground geek tech old school look based on your comments

FrontPage 2003 is part of your problem. Worst WYSIWYG HTML application there is.

The main lab rack rental site was adequate for most of the customers I have. They actually like it. The stumbler pics pages were done as an obvious aside just to get the info out there. I did not want to tie up the board with pics here so I figured the links would be better. I also, must learn to take better pictures. I used an canon elf and had the pictures scanned. Next time a digital camera. My stumbling skills are far better than my photography skill, hey at least there were no thumbs in the shots
... yet.. I tell ya though the rooftop stumbler works like a charm and it is a blast. Next project, convert an old microwave into a 2.4ghz functional jammer/interference generator for product testing and site survey uses. Enjoy folks..

Edit: I just noticed the lack of wireless devices in your lab setup. Hardly a proper network.... Last edited by peekitty : 08-10-2003 at 02:25 PM. |

Improper of course. I have been holding off on any decent wireless gear in terms of APs untill the g stuff was ratified and the product selection improved and cleared up.
As for the gifs, espically the banana I could not help it. As for the microwave I can finally test that lead underwear the wife got me keep the ranks coming... /JS

"The Atomic Thoth is another matter entirely of course.... "
Hey that's the compamy logo. Kudos to you for knowing what the logo is. Considering I have been in business since 94 some clients still call the logo, the bird. At least it is not confused with the dancing chicken, yet.... I have been hodling off on APs for a while now. I am down(bugeted to) the Cisco Arionet and or the Proxim ap 2500. Your siemens looks interesting though. what I would really want is a pair of WI-FI phones, like the cisco 7920s... http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/...056/index.html I have been doing some ptp vowi-fi between two of the 2620 routers with the fxs modules but it is obviously not mobile enough. My next real project is to build out the pair of dishs I have sitting around the lab. oh well it could have been worse. I could have posted this link on the site. www.netsumbler.com
