Orange County wardriver here
Fairly new to the wireless scene. Been in the wired scene for quite some time. Took a little drive down the 55 Fwy going toward Newport Beach and picked up about 15 wireless networks, only two of em were using encryption. Current setup is Win2k, but Redhat 7.0 and Orinoco cards get along well, so thats what its gonna end up being. Anybody attend OC 2600? Willing to get into together and drive sometime. Gotta wait till my antenna rig arrives though.
