Servuz.

Also speziell dieses hab ich am Flughafen noch ned gesehen. Kann aber leicht übersehen werden, da es ne menge LAN´s gibt.

Schau mal unter www.wardriving.de.vu/db.html , das ist der versuch von ner WLAN DB in MUC

moin
also ich stelle fest das es in mindestens 3 deutschen städten schon sowas wie eine DB gibt die AP´s auflisten.

sollten wir die evl mal unter einen dachverband zusammen fassen?

ich will keine konkurenz zu diesen forum aufbauen, ist denk ich eh nicht sinnvoll.
aber es wäre zumindestens mal ne idee sowas wie http://freenetworks.org für deutschland zu basteln, wobei ich gestehen muß das ich mich gerade dazu entschieden habe schonmal eien anfang zu machen (www.freenetworks.de.vu). also wenn noch wer lust hat einfach mal melden :-)

gleiches gild für WLAN seiten für einzelne städte oder städte übergreifende seiten... immer her damit!

um es nochmal deutlich zu sagen:
es soll keine konkurenz seite zu irgendeiner anderen werden. die primäre funktion dieser seite soll einfach erstmal eine art gelbe seiten sein!

Hello All,

Sorry this message is not in German but, my German is
completly crap...

I have read many of the messages posted here, at it seems
that I am not alone in "Mapping" Munich and the cities
around it. Maybe we should organize a Meeting sometime
as a "Meeet the WarDriver" of Munich...

Also something that is desperatly needed is a WWW site
that can reliably accept AP locations Via GPS coordinates
or other means and project it's location on a map.

Now I know this can be done as it's being done at:
http://www.freenetworks.de.vu, however I have found
that when you try to display or input new AP locations
sometime they are completly off.

One such time is from a Warwalk I did from MarienPlatz
to Hauptbahnhof. I put in the correct GPS Coordinates
however when I displayed it on the map it told me the AP
was about 10km away, from where it really is. I have verified this with some of the other AP's mentioned on the site.

If anybody know of a good working site please let me know.
I have found many AP's that I have not found listed anywhere
yet. "Munich Downtown,Erding,Munich Airport".

If anybody would be intrested in this Info. Please let me know.

i'm kinda proud to introduce myself here ... i've set up my first set of wireless equipment and will map wiesbaden/germany tonite. at least start to map. mainz and frankfurt will hopefully follow soon (lookin forward to all those banks and other corporations in frankfurt if this turns out to be half as funny as i expect it to get
