my setup
atm, i have a Toshiba Portege 7020CT (PII 366/128M) with an Enterasys Roamabout (think Orinoco Silver) that runs Windows 98.
However, I'm currently installing good ol' slackware on that bad boy. i hadn't picked up anything from my drive from downtown, along 64, and off of grinstead. itallushrt mentioned that collegiate had a pretty strong signal, and i was about 3 blocks away and got nothing. then i was passing by some nice houses and BING! linksys. |

hmm, my laptop with the non broken screen is only a 133 mhz win 98 laptop...
maybe I should get a new display for my other one... costs like 299 though, a bit pricy for a LCD panel... oh well, guess I am stuck listening to MP3's over wireless ![]() |

Lex, KY - I know there's somebody out there!
I was looking at wigle, and there is a user there who is posting stuff on my city.... and I was wondering who it was.... not to mention to tell him that his uploads are very sparse. I've picked up about 500 unique AP's in Lexington, KY
