I may be in as well and have two friends who might join the fun, so thats three more possibles. I've already done a large chunk of DC without my antanae, so I'm curious how many I get using it.

Interesting, I sent an email earlier this morning and just got it now, did anyone else get it? It was about NetStumbler's latest release.

I am happy to modify my online log parsing script and offer space for the central parse/storage of the files and make them available via that same site for download. I just need to know what the group would be looking for in terms of output of the data (csv for (MapPoint, etc). I am also interested in being a part of the DC drive.

I will talk to Shok about incorporating our already discovered points as well.

Greetings Slacker if you are interested in trading NS1 files click here: http://forums.netstumbler.com/showth...&threadid=1783 Currently as of tonight the NS1 master is at 20K+ APs across the US, Canada, and wherever else people have uploaded data from.

I'm considering this drive. If I can get the date free, I have 2 means of sharing data:
- A built-in CD burner
- A 128MB CF card, and a PCMCIA-CF adapter

Once I know for sure, I'll post!

Naw, you gotta have 3, right?

At the end of the day, "ad-hoc" your file over to someone else...

In preparation for te Worldwide Drive (and because I had to come down here anyway) I drove from my house to Hampton VA today. The summary file is online at www.securitytribe.com/wardrive/hampton

I haven't had much of a chance to look it over, but there are 85 APs. I will upload the ns1 file and map it out once I get back home (or if I have time while I am down here) and post those as well.

Enjoy...

I will map this out. I'm currently testing beta5 courtesy by Mother (creator of StumbVerter).

Result later.

By the way, what time on August 31?

Cheers,

Thanks for the mapping.

As for the 31st...I was thinking we could meet at 1:00PM either at Camden Yards or at the Planet Hollywood in the Inner Harbor and go from there.

What do you guys think?

No baseball game that day == no traffic. I'm down with 1pm..

I guess the next logical question is: How are we going to split up the city's roads?

charles, st paul

both of these streets have all sorts of wireless, near the harbor. I have some netstumbler logs of em somewhere, but just ordered a new 5db mag omni, shipping to me next day, so I can remap some other places...the blade antenna died...

I think I am in for the 31st. We gonna put a time on this, get some additional direction? I am real familiar with downtown, so I won't have a problem goin anywhere, just wondering how we are going to review the results? Via the board?

Also, I plan on using Kismet, so if we need to standardize on a format, someone clue me in as to what it's gonna be, and the approach for mapping the results. I want to make sure I have something to convert Kismet data this time around...

you may want to state the version of kismet you are using, there are some discrepencies the progs/scripts out there have with different versions. I am not sure if c0nv3r9 has had a chance to play with his kismet to wi-scan converter since defcon, but it was nice with certain versions of kismet. I remember he mentioned he fixed it, just had to pretty up the code.
