Where in Ma are you looking? I just got a Cisco Aironet 340 and hope that it will work. I'll be trying it out in the Lowell and Worcester areas.

I've got like 2 or 3 folks here in Boston getting ready
a get together and some sniffing/mapping.

Also, we plan to spend some time with Airsnort + WEPcrack.

We're almost ready to go -- we all need to get together
somewhere, sometime soon, to talk it out and make the plan.

Cisco's site has a map of public-access commercial wlans (logan, hotels, etc.) - maybe try there to see how well its secured?

hey ill im going to the boston area for a month and i will prob hit providence and milford
then im driving the whole coast down to fort lauderdale,
hope to have some good results

I am in Amherst. I don't have a NS setup but I do have a Proxim RangeLAN card using the Zcom drivers so it has an AP browser and site survey tool etc. Still fun driving around Amherst picking up APs.
