A friend works in one of those buildings, he tells me that the screens in the elevator cars (you know the ones running comercials to a captive audience) are getting their signal with wireless. He gets hits at every elevator shaft in the building.

I was wondering where the MA people were...
Check out the MA wardriving page for WWWD3 and drop me a note so I can add all you folks to the map: http://www.agentgreen.org/projects/n...-03/index.html Glad to see MA is going to be pretty well represented.

WWWD3 Massachusetts Kickoff - 6/28
The Massachusetts kickoff meet for the third WorldWide WarDrive will start at 1:30p in the Natick Mall food court. This way the early risers can get a head-start on the wardriving festivities, and the late risers can get some extra shut-eye.
Since the dynamics of the food court can change at any time, I'll be there in my WWWD3 shirt, and a brown Indiana Jones hat. The preliminary weather forecast is supposed to be highs 85-90, so I'll be in shorts and have a green man bag (commonly known as a fanny pack).

Bleh. Because of the sudden emergance of a loud, metal on metal grinding noise in the right front wheel of my car whenever I turn left. I will be unable to attend. (I fear my CV joint is on it's last legs)

I've gotten a fair amount of feedback on the event, mostly some people who can't really make it...so I'll still be there at 1:30...however, if nobody's there, I'm going to get lunch at 2...and depart soon after.
It's been fucking hotter than hell in the Northeast over the last few days, so I haven't been able to update my website at all since the computer room isn't air conditioned...and the AC for the bedroom shares the same circuit.

Stubled the "Main Tower" in Frankfurt,Germany for WWWD3
Picked up about 150 AP's in 5min using a PACwireless Omni. I had to turn off the sound as the constant bonging drove me nuts. (About 1 every second). Next time Ill try with a Yagi.
