My buddies and I have been doing mostly southern connecticut and westchester county. We have been looking forward to hitting Manhatten soon, but with all that's been going on, we have put it off. Send me an e-mail next time you are thinking about doing some NYC and maybe we can all meet up and do some serious stumblin'.

I stumbled a little bit while there in July. I used to live there, and was home for a wedding. There is some stuff on the 110 corridor, plus the industrial area where Arrow Electronics is located. I also tried the LIE (Symbol and Computer Associates). Bingo on Symbol (as expected), nada on CA. Among the funnier finds (admittedly I did not search too long) was a dress shop (Estelle's) in Farmingdale.. Last place I expected it.

However, if you want a bountiful harvest, hop the LIRR to Penn and ride the MTA bus along 6th or B'way. I lost count.

I've found some APs around the city using apsniff and my wpc11. Have yet to gain access, however.

I plan to war stroll in NYC on 11/7/01, anyone else feel like taking a walk? I'll check out Rockefeller Center too on the way.

Yeah, the LIE had only a few. The train trip had 6. And last night on my way home from 76 and broadway to the midtown tunnel, I found close to 40 with less than 25% running wep and 7 Aps in one building alone. Must have been providing it to the whole building with names like 4th floor stairwell and stuff.. pretty interesting.

It was actually funny to hear NS find many right ina row.

I live down in the Cape May area but I'm from Flemington (west/central) NJ. I go home quite often and would love to do some stumbling. I believe the Bridgewater/Somerset area poses some good finds. I know of one in the Flemington area but my Brother and I haven't mapped it all out yet. I'd also love to share information and maybe participate/help set-up a New Jersey based group. Have fun everybody.

I believe I have the area between Cranford and Bridgewater NJ mapped fairly well via rt 22, and rt 28. I also have most of rt18 mapped and surrounding areas near Rutgers campus.
