havenoclu,
Which MCI facility did you go by, and did you pick up any APs? I'm at the Weston Parkway location. I still have not made it into RTP, been slowly expanding my range from my house. Been doing this a while now and still amazed at the number of non-wep APs out there.. e-knock, Sorry for not replying. I unfortunatly got pretty busy the past several months. I still don't have an antenna but I did get an omnibook working to use just for stumbling. Now to venture out again..... LifeTap |

You'll be surprised where you can find APs. On the All-American, Bragg Blvd, Owen Drive, Cape Fear Valley Hospital and Medical offices area. All over.
Don't have much time to war-drive lately, but as soon as I do I want to create a map of area. If interested, watch this thread in next couple months. -E |

Try the VA
Try the VA hospital...it was wide open in July. I contacted them and informed them of the poor security...I sure hope they've fixed it. The one in Durham wasn't much better.
As for the rest of Fayettenam...Only caught about 50 or so AP's while I was there. One of them was the Market Street Cafe...free wireless access! |
