I am
![]() My friend chris and I can be seen zipping around town in a 1990 Ford Probe LX (with the digital dashboard ) and a small antenna mag mounted to the roof. Question for you: the corner of dundas and colburne, where te london towers are, we picked up several networks with different macs all called IEEE 802.11b LAN. Haev you seen these networks before? We think they might be coming from possible sector antennas on the roof of the north building, but we havnt been able to confirm this yet. Im very interested in talking to you furhter. Please contact me. Tom |

all the downtown cameras are wireless, but those are more to the west of where you're mentioning...
it's been a while since I been out, there wasn't anything in that area of notice when I was last out... If you're in the east end... Dundas/Saskatoon... go south on Saskatoon, and should hit my setup :-) You'll know when you see the name |

If you're lucky enough to know someone in the Royal Bank building...
sit the laptop by a window (helps if you can look over the Market) and you will get all kinds of stuff the cameras all connect to the top of the Royal Building roof |

Lon_Omni1
Lon_Omni2 etc. I thought these were just ghost networks, they seemed to be moving around, they're wide open as i recall. Ive been able to catch them on the ground but could never locate the source because i was catching a bounced signal. Lon1_sec2 is another network ive been trying to ID, any insights there? |

yah thats the one. Even went up the the top floor of One London Place to try to track that sucker down. Its not on the roof there. Ive also found Sec1, sec2, and sec3 in various locations around the DT area.
Still cant ID them either |
