state college
"i'm in state college currently, attending classes - working on my setup - no stumbling yet, card comes tomorrow"
There are alot of interesting AP's on campus, also down by the corner of Beaver and Garner... That is about as far as I have been. I hope to get out more though on foot. |

My setup...
- Compaq 900Z Laptop (1.5ghz, 256mb ram, 20gig, etc..) - Dell TrueMobile 1150 Wireless Card - Garmin eTrex Basic (yellow one) GPS - Netstumbler - Ethereal Things I want to get... - Power inverter thingy for car so I can just plug in instead of using battery - antenna of some kind - map piont 2k2 ... right now i save my files but i have not plotted any yet... Gimme some info or a link to the WWWD3 info, specifically for philly if there is a link to that, or let your friend know my e-mail address, y00y@comcast.net ... I stumble in free time but don't keep up w/ all the news about wardriving, so that'd be why I don't know much about WWWD3, Thanks ck3k -y00y |

He hasnt put up the wwwd info yet, I am organizing the nor-cal wwwd. I will give your email to him. Your setup is familar with mine, it is near the same, odd, I also stumble with a Dell 1150. Check my site for some pictures of my setup. An antenna would do you the most good, that is what i learned....

nice pics.. I need a new car sigh...
A question though, would u tell me the components i'd need to buy to get the antenna hooked up, like which pigtail and I guess which antenna since your using the same card, I might as well pick up the same antenna as long as its in a nice price range ya know... Thanks in advance for any info you can give me. I should be online for another half hour or so as I see your up at the moment as well, my AIM SN is "y00yCDz" if you wanna IM me.. Thanks for forwarding my e-mail address to him. I'm in the mood to wardrive down in the city again, have only done it twice so far. -y00y |

Well, I understand your problem. The Dell 1150 is just an ORNiCO card, if you look at my pics you see how i have something connected to the end of the card, look on the end of yours you will see a black circle, pop that lil thing out and you have your antenna jack. What you need is the pigtail(ornico)and the antenna, and then your set. http://www.fab-corp.com has some great stuff, I hope you keep up the interest. About posting your results, go on http://www.wifimaps.com or http://www.wigle.net
