I'm in Saskatoon. I'd be interested to talk with anyone else that is here. So far I haven't found any open APs, but I haven't tried downtown yet. I imagine the Starbucks have some. I was surprised that the University network is locked down with cisco's protection.

There are tons of open AP's in Saskatoon. Basically take a drive through any residential area's. Also there are quite a few downtown. Right by the CIBC on second ave there is an open one. Lots of hotels have open ones too. The Shark club by the sandman has one, and I think that the travel lodge does too. I am kind of amazed that the westside has more secured wifi than the east side. Atleast from what I have noticed.
