ext2 filesystem driver for XP. Read/write access available.
Great also for dualboot setups, so you can access your *nix home partition from that other OS.

Is there any tutorial how to create those rainbow tables for cowpatty?

I meen, do you use a fixed wordlist (from dictionnaire) or you generate all possible characters?

I you generate all possible characters, can you provide that file too? Or do I write a little perl program to generate all characters.

There is a tutorial up at http://www.wirelessdefence.org/Conte...WPAttyMain.htm - Not affiliated with the CoWF, they were just faster at making one than I was

We used a fixed wordlists since the point of this was to cover easy/stupid passphrases.

You could generate all permutations, however to do the entire 8 character keyspace results in a couple exobytes of data and I don't have that much storage available. Even just the lowercase 8 character requires about 8 petabytes of storage.

The wordlist we used will be available as soon as the shmoo get around to posting the torrent of the tables from Shmoocon. In thier defence, they've been moving all thier servers around and working hard at getting all the video online for everyone.

I want two things (maybe 3):

1. use exactly the same wordlist to create hashlist for other SSIDs
2. obtain the list of SSIDs, which was used to generate the hashlist (is it a command for this? Is the SSID GIGABYTE included?)

(3. A mini-howto how can I distribute the generate process over more computers (I have 4 here))

I have downloaded the smallest hashlist, and the wordlist isnt included, only the generated tables.

Ok, I was waiting for the shmoo to get the tables posted, but I guess I can flip the switch on the project and post the associated files until they get them posted.

You'll find our password list and SSID list as well as 'genrun' a craptacular perl script to sequentially calculate a list of SSID's

Heres your how-to:

1. Load cowpatty on all machines

2. break your SSID list among the machines

3. edit genrun.pl to reflect the file names of your SSID and passphrase files

4. perl genrun.pl

5. wait

6. ...

7. Profit!

8. Send link to me the SSID's and where we can download the tables you created
