Sounds like someone with Kismet and a waveguide antenna would have a definite advantage.

Gotta level the playing field to make it more interesting. Breaking it down, there are three factors that would give a team an advantage: the sniffing program, the antenna, and intel of the area. You can control the first two factors, but the last one will take some work.

What would be cooler is an AP hunt similar to geo-caching.

Team needed...
I'm gonna have wheels in vegas this year (yaa), but I need a team.

Anyone going to DCX interested in joining me (Blackwave )

It's for a team of 4 and I've got a Grand prix that seats 4 very comforatably w/ AC and 4 X 12 volt outlets for power

I am planning on making it as well, as it appears i have that week off (so far anyway).

I have a durango if that would help with room (room for six or 4 with cargo in back).

i just gotta figure out a place to stay...

I'll be there with a buddy. Driving whatever midsize POS rental car I get, probably a Grand Am/Prix or Alero. We'll have multiple laptops/OS's, cards, and antennas.

Dude i wanna go to DCX sooo bad this year but i have absolutley zero friends that are computer literate and no one wants to go. Anyone who lives in michigan and wants to go hit me up. I've got great deals on airfare. I'm still having a problem getting a POS rental cause i'm only 23. Every rental car company charges a "surcharge" if your under 25. What a crock. Anyone have any soc engineering hints for a workaround???

Would be nice to be able to get off work, but I've been too busy as of late with work and other work related activities to be vacationing anywhere. All have fun and please post results, pics and any other information garnerned from DCX!!
