It looks like Athens is about to go wireless - or so says CNN

This is a good project, given that it's staying after the testing period, and, stays free. I hope more cities will follow making one big, roamable network.
On the other hand, when not correctly planned, the new equipment may interfere locally with existing 802.11b accesspoints. But oh well, that's all to be discovered during testing.. ;]
