Tinted camera cover and red L.E.D. mounted behind it. all attached to the wall with an aluminum ring on the outer border. That should get you close to the look of H.A.L.

I saw those kits and missed the news this morning. That'll definitely raise the prices especially when the guy is raping you on shipping $60+
