Los Angeles Wireless User Group

Mike Outmesguine from TransStellar http://www.TransStellar.com and I have started a new wireless users group for those in and around the Los Angeles area. We have been looking for such a group for some time, and finally decided to start one up ourselves.

It's called the Southern California Wireless Users Group, or SoCalWUG. The website is http://www.socalwug.org Our first meeting is this Thursday the 16th at 7pm. We will have a presentation, Intro to Wireless. Which will be review for many on this list, but will be a good launching point for the group. See the site for the proposed agenda and presentation outline. Since this is our first meeting, much will be in flux.

If you are near Los Angeles, plan on attending.

Also, thanks to the Linux Public Broadcasting Network and the weekly show "UNWIRED", the meeting will be webcast live from http://www.lpbn.org For those of you who haven't yet seen SW2:Attack of the Clones, the video will be archived for later viewing.
