I get a "ERROR: Group doesn't exist" when I try to sign up.

Login into Wigle from the main page then goto to the url and click join.

You have to love that hratch is a group unto himself. Of course in a single month he probably drives/rides more than most of us do in a whole year. (And he's a nice guy, too.)

I'm taking a guess here but is he a long-haul driver? That's the only way I know that someone could rack up that many hits.

On the .jpg thing I was looking for something like that .gif that you would see that would put up the IP address except this would hotlink to wigle stats page info or even text like mine but it woud be dynamic. Mine I have to change when I upload new data.

Nope, not even close. He's a techie/roadie for a band. They seem to be on tour about 9 months at a time. I think he said one tour bus has 12 bunks. He's about the only guy I know who can WarDrive while he sleeps.

Search around for his posts, and there were some with photos of one of the buses, complete with antenna.

I drive 3 hours roundtrip to work and back a day but there is only so many different ways to do it. I hope Christmas is a good one for the technogeeks this year.

Hey, that's 'close' enough for government work. I got the cross-country traveling part. So, what if he doesn't do the actual driving.

I tried find some posts of of the bus but only found this one

Of course there's 300+ more post that's he's made that I could go through.

Now, he's got the chance at a perfect set-up. A desktop with 11 cards (set to their own channel) and 11 fab-corp omnis down the roof of the bus. Then run kismet and he could hit half-a-million in no time. <drool>
