It may not last, but I just passed Petzl to make 5th place overall. That makes 3 of us in the top 10. No too bad.

Damn, I really tried to stay on top this month, but Mark just managed to keep pulling them out from somewhere, I'd rather not consider specifics.

LOL, no these were "clean" networks.

There was an article in our newspaper in mid-January about a guy rolling out WiFi service in the western part of the state. It quoted some interesting numbers from "the US Census Bureau survey of computer and Internet use in the USA, 2003." It said 52.7% of all OK homes have a computer vs 59.3% nation wide. Of those, 46.2% in OK have Internet access vs 52.7% nationwide. Of those, 22.5% are cable or DSL vs 27.6% nation wide.

I have noticed a distinct increase in the amount of wireless usage here. Since Christmas, I've redriven areas that I did in October/November and am seeing an additional 30% - 40% wireless networks. So I've been out taking advantage of it daily and a few road trips around the state didn't hurt either.

I noticed you're uploading again. I'm seeing the same trend here also. Wireless is exploding. I've been starting over from scratch every 3 months or so. It's changing that rapidly.

Petzl and I have quite a little battle going for 5th place but I think I can stay ahead of him.

Now that things at work are settled down ( got hired on full time at Getronics instead of being a temp to them)l got a new laptop, and my family is getting better (long story short, since 1 week before thanksgiving my family has been in and out of the hospital starting with my Dad, triple bypass open heart surgery, then brother breaks ankle, then mom has back surgery. Status of all 3, Dad is doing ALOT better.. is almost back to his ornery self, brother is released back to work starting tommorow, and mom is doing better.)

I am starting to wardrive more, still have not ordered the omni from Fabcorp or that 2 to 1 antenna concentrator from fabcorp so I can run dual cantennas

I am starting to look at routes I have driven and going to go over them again since we all know its after Christmas and new routers have been bought
