I may be wrong but this sounds like Dutch has a serious case of "penis" envy all because you use a computer with a much better operating system than the one he uses.

You're wrong. I happen to know for a fact that Dutch uses only *nix machines, but he never touches those that are locked into a special proprietary versions.

Nope, I know MacOS intimately, since I used to provide software support to all the Mac dealers in Denmark back in the mid nineties, when I worked for the MacSoft distributor here. And I still think that Linux is a better OS than MacOS X.

I'm just razzin' Barry..

Thanks, but I kinda feel bad now. Don't forget I had to leave the state to get those recent numbers. It actually took "three" states to get those numbers.

Hel,l I had to drive the equivalent distance of 3 states just to drive to Anchorage!

Interesting. Maybe we shoud hope over to the MAC OS forum and discuss the reasons why you, and apparently others, believe that Linux is a superior OS to MAC OS X or are you talking about previous versions of MAC OS?

I do find the occasional frustration when I forget which computer I am on and type iwconfig and get the resulting error but other than that, using my Powerbook with OS X does not seem all that different to me than using Linux.
