You're not making it easy on me either. I look today, and all of the sudden you have 27k. I'm uploading my logs from last night, as I got lost on the outskirts of D.C. I definitely have troubles in the residential areas. AND trying to find a place to park 65' of equipment in the dark when the consignee says you can't unload, and you can't stay on their lot. Bastards.

Looks like 3500 new driving between Louisville and DC.

Just doing what comes natural. I've also been on the road and found some areas that needed my special attention.

65' is a little hard to hide. Sounds like you're having fun.

You obviously didn't devote enough attention to the Metroplex when you were down here.

?? Do you mean Pecos County? If so, I've never been there, yet.

I've been in Colorado Springs and Carlsbad, NM for the last week. Mostly the Springs.

Ahhh, I didn't know where you were. LOL, I could drive 24 X 7 X 365 in the greater DFW area and not get them all. As I've said in this very thread multiple times before, I'm surprised DFW isn't hit by more stumblers.

I'm learning there are a lot more places just like it. The 10,478,404 networks with GPS submitted to WiGle just scratch the surface of what's out there.

How well covered is the San Diego area? I am going to be there for a meeting this week and have a couple of hours to run around gathering SSID's.

If you're running Kismet, stumble it anyway. You'll get results. Besides it's guaranteed you won't get any if you don't stumble at all.

I'm continually amazed when I stumble areas I did a few days earlier and I still get new networks. No, they're not ad-hoc.

The sheer number and distribution of WiFi networks never ceases to amaze me.

I am taking my MacBook Pro with me on the cruise in two weeks and hope to add some Alaskan sites in Sita, Skagway and Juneau.

You should see Anchorage without filtering what I've found. My wife picked up a new client in Girdwood, so I'm sure I'll get a chance to finish up that town. I'd have done it this weekend, but my laptop crapped out.

I just looked and having been there several times, that's impressive. It's nice that her new client is a good excuse to make the trip. Too bad there's no easy way to get to Juneau where all the political types and offices are. Hmmm, stumbling via kayak might get a nice water bounce effect.

Make it a tandem and put the wife up front. She'll never know she's doing all the work.
