Minnesota sucks by the way. Actually it blows, my car all over the road.
There is a joke in there somewhere. Lacking caffeine right now so my brain isn't working well. Can someone else throw the joke in there for me? Thanks.

A grasshopper walks into a bar and the bartender says, ''Hey, we have a drink named after you!''
The grasshopper looks surprised and says, ''You have a drink named Steve?''

Maybe you should just keep driving - you'd be in DC in time for ShmooCon.

Whoever wants the 14 mill mark, better upload ASAP. Dutch just uploaded short, and I am queued up, but am going to be short also. It is under 2000 away. My first file was only 750 out of 7300. I thought I'd get over 1000, but that is what I get for multiple drives on the same stretch.

UPDATE: It is now within 700!

Another Update.... I think ccie4526 got it.

Last Update: Nevermind... The stats didn't change at all, so now I have no idea now. I should delete this post before someone says I have way too much time on my hands sitting here watching the stats, while I wait for my next truck load of freight here in the ghetto in Cleveland. If it wasn't for the fact I think I might get shot or robbed, I would go for a bike ride.. Do a little Warbiking.

I'm about to have company in the Wigle Millionaire Club.

ccie4526, Where are you getting such good numbers?

I am fizzling out, as I keep going to the same places more and more in my truck. Also, I am quitting my job driving in 2 weeks to go back to school to finish getting my degree. Guess I'm gonna have to start re-driving the Cincinnati area. I'm gonna post some Web Map screen shots once I am done. It is pretty interesting to see where all I have gone.

Oh, you're the reason my drives haven't been picking anything up. My uncle just started driving for himself again. It pisses him off how much you guys (truck drivers) get yanked around at your end stops with the paper work not being ready, or even them not being ready for what ever you're dropping off. He says they don't seem to realize it costs him money just sitting there waiting for them to get their act together.

Yeah, the defining moment in deciding to go back to school was a day where I delivered some freight at 8am after sleeping 8 hours. I was then assigned a load that picked up at 3pm 30 miles away, and it delivered 60 miles ASAP from where I picked it up. So I sat all day, then a half hour drive, then 2 hours picking it up, then a hour drive, then another 2 hours to get unloaded. So I made about $30 in 12 hours of being awake and ready to go hundreds of miles from home. Cause I just got paid for driving the 90 miles, and nothing else.

I was officially re-enrolled in school less than 3 weeks later.

The biggest problem I see with being independent now, is the price of diesel. Though I'm sure some drivers have good freight connections to still make a decent living. And there are other things I got to learn on my own after I started, that I'm not thrilled about. It has definitely taught me the importance of getting an education, and the opportunities that come with it.

Yea, at $1400 a tank, fuel is a bit expensive!

Just made it somewhere between Oklahoma City and Fort Worth, on the way back to Austin. Where generally, driving all over the place when I'm on a business trip somewhere. I've seen my home for all of about 18 hours in the last month and a half. Otherwise been in a hotel somewhere. Flying to Chicago in the morning, will get to do a bit of driving around up there this coming week. Next week is Seattle, week after is Harrisburg (actually Hershey) PA again. Yeah Streaker, I'm on the way back up there again. You've been warned.

If you're gonna be in Hershey, you're only about 25 minutes from my house. Drop me a line we can do dinner or something.

The truth comes out. Streaker isn't Amish, he's Willy Wonka!

I'd been told that before, but I'd misunderstood and heard it as "willy wanker" and that's a whole different thing...
