Running on dell Inspiron 5150 Win XP home using SMC 2635W Driver 1.79.424.2003

Works good so far but I have noticed when I run this at home it does interfere with my network connection. Anyone else have this problem?

Well I'm taking the above ok back. It seems to have hosed my wireless driver. I had to delete it and reinstall to get it working again. Oh well I'm asking for a new card for Christmas. I still have pocketwarrior on my axim so I'm happy.

Network Everywhere NWP11b on XP with SMC 2435W european drivers

NS is working:
Network Everywhere NWP11b
XP Home
Using SMC 2435W european drivers:
http://www.smc-europe.com/english/su...35W_2402W.html
http://www.smc-europe.com/english/su...ual/wirel.html

www.Networkeverywhere.com 's drivers kept requesting files like tiacxGEN.bin, which looked like a Texas Instruments driver, so I tried SMC's european 2435W driver, which worked.
Note: The NWP11b shows as "SMC 2435W" in the hardware list b/c I used the SMC driver.

Fujitsu B2130 laptop w/ XP Pro
Netstumbler 0.3.30
SMC2532W-B with Demarctech drivers and wlan utility
Disabled Zero Config Utility Service
Eartmate USB GPS
DeLorme Street Atlas using SAStumbler for conversion.

I tried the Europen drivers and they seemd to work OK. The current update on the SMC site (US) gave me all kinds of problems and would lock up my computer when shutting down along with disabling my sound card.

My setup seems stable now but I have not tried running it for more then two hours or so at a time.

Panasonic Toughbook CF-72
D-Link DWL-G650
Haicom GPS
Win2k
NS 3.30

All worked fine until I then installed WinXP Pro, now it seem that the card isn't in promiscuous mode. Any ideas how I can get it working?

Thanks
Jay

Edit: Yay it's working now with XP Pro, just did a reinstall of NS & all is fine

I have a linksys WPC11 v.3 and i have had it working with both 2k and XP. I just had to check the ndis 5.1 option under devices. I have noticed that it doesnt work with the linksys utility running. The signal levels seem to be correct I cant be sure they are right but they do go down when I go to another room of my house. This is with netstumbler 0.3.30.
I forgot to add this is with an IBM Thinkpad 390 E

I am the happy owner of an Acer TM803 Csi.
It has wireless onboard. Netstumbler recons the chipset, and after the first installation, I was so lucky to find 2 encrypted and 2 unsecure wireless locations!
In the acer is an Intel Pro wireless Lan 2100 3B mini PCI adapter Ndis 5.1
I want to attach an external antenna, so unfortunally I have to buy an extra pcmcia card to do that.
I am going for the soho card (orinoco chipset) at zx-yagi.nl

Thumbs up Linksys Version 4

As I understand it is a realtek chipset?. I got it to work in W2K.

Dell Inspiron
Linksys WPC11 Version 4
W2K SP 4
NS 3.30

Worked great even with just the cards antenna (129 hits on my way to work).
