Cabletron Roamabout Card setup
I'm hoping for a little help on configuring my @migo and the Roamabout card with ministumber.
The Drivers are version Win CE 6.28 and are for the PocketPC. They load up OK, but I get a message from ministumber that the "radio is disabled" and the card's client software is also shows disabled. Is there some trick that I am missing. Also, can anyone point me towards the ping utility (or any other utilites like ping) that is out there that I can up on my @migo? Thanks

you can try vxutil from cambridge. it has a built-in pinger.
http://www.cam.com/vxutil.html but i recommend just installing the CE drivers from www.orinocowireless.com it has a built-in link quality tester. just fire up the ORiNOCO Client Manager. if the card isn't recognized when you insert it just type in "wlluc46"

Cabletron Roamabout Card setup
Thanks for the help. I tried a reset and put back in the Roamabout client and it still failed. I went in and loaded the Orinoco drivers and typed in wlluc46 and it is working great with ministumbler.
By the way I am using a PC-600 (URThere) running PocketPC 2002, and the Roamabout card. In addition, I have loaded the drivers for an SMC 2632W to connect to my home LAN and it is running fine. I might add at 128 bit WEP :->. All in all I'm pretty happy with the PC-600 (a friend had pointed out the thread in the forum). If anyone is still trying to buy one of these, I would recommend. The person selling them shipped COD. She originally forgot to include the stylus and some software in the shipment, but as soon as I contacted her she sent it right to me. Tomorrow, I'll get the utilities loaded. Thanks again for the help. Ralph
