Hyperlink Made Omni antennas?
Ok I searched the board and couldn't find any referances to this. At least not this sytle antenna.
http://www.hyperlinktech.com/web/orinoco_products.html At the bottom of the page it looks like Hyperlink branded Orinoco Omni antennas with the lucent connector. Which is signifantly cheaper than fab-corp's comparable product. Anyone had any experience with these antennas do they compare to the fab-corp ones? Are these new? B/c i've never seen them before. |

Be careful...
I've never bought from them (or fab-corp.), so I don't know. But others here have reported
problems.http://forums.netstumbler.com//showt...&threadid=1532

While the antenna looks similar to the one from FAB-Corp the significatly thinner and longer cable means higher signal loss. I'd functionally compare this closer to the ORiNOCO range extender antenna as opposed to the one from FAB corp.
Less expensive... yes. As good performance... probably not.
