I have a FM radio Transmitter antenna, think I could use it for searching somehow? I don't know much about I am doing a bit of reading on ones like it, but not much on if I could use a wifi card on it.

No. Wrong frequency range. FM = 87 to 104MHz, 802.11b = 2.4GHz. The lambda (wavelength) is all wrong. You'd be better off using a bare piece of wire, 1.22" long, or a multiple of that length (2.44", 4.88".) But that intoduces a whole set of it's own problems.
