Just adding my 2 cents.
http://www.jalcds.de/index.php This is a software LCD driver that interface with the parallel port and any LCD display that you already have salvaged from junkyard. What do you think Thorn ? Bye ! Stefe |

Here is my config with NSLCD.. i edited the .vbs file in order to work with my LK202-24-USB-WB from Matrix Orbital. I'm working for a new version to be able to see the current Best S/N ratio and the current speed and Lat/Lon position.

The script is written to work with CrystalFontz USB LCDs. I chose this because it is very easy to get stuff to the display. Check out my posts on the first page of this thread. I have a link to the display I use.
It may be possible to get this script to work with parallel LCDs, using the software at the like stefe provided above. I have not had an opportunity to try, but at first glance, it looked like a possibility. |
