Converting to different file types
I just started using NetSetumbler with the GPS function (thanks onstar
) and also have Delorme Street Atlas 2003 installed on the same laptop that I use for long trips. My question is can any of these scripts export or convert the NS data to either of these file types:Solus Mark File (*.txt) Topo USA 2.0 (*.ano) Street Atlas USA (7.0, 8.0, 9.0) (*.sa9) AAA Map N 'Go (*.mn7) GPS Log File (*.gpl) I would really like to use Street Atlas as my mapping software just because I am used to it and it is very functional....thanks!!! |

My observation about such odd plots has been that there are a couple of possiblities:
1) Correct data type for your map program (NAD84, etc.). 2) An E/W +/- translation. Latitude must be - (W) for North America. 3) Make sure that the GPS has been initialized properly. If the GPS thinks it's in the wrong place at startup, everything else will be off. Many GPS units must be re-initialized if it has been off and moved over 300 miles.
