MAC ID database
I created a Mac id database where users can search and submit the mac ids they pick up when war driving or their preferred method of picking up signals. It's sorta in a beta stage, let me know what you think, suggestions or submit ids.
Thanks. http://www.computersoc.com/macid.php |

It might be something for you to polish your programming skills on, but you're reinventing the wheel. Take a look at WIGLE.net You have 272 MACs. WIGLE.net has over 1.25 Million MACs, and has been running for over 2 years now.
By the way, what has this got to do with NetStumbler scripts?

Are there any easy scripts to use so MAC ids can be submitted faster since I usually just copy and paste from a summary export? Thanks.

Oh, and forget what I said about the amount of MACs WIGLE has; that was data from two weeks ago. They're up over 1.5 million MACs as of 5 minutes ago.

Competition is fun; plus I have my news/media sources that could help out.
Anyway, I made it so one cannot submit the same macid twice and it doesn't keep track of wep/no wep or the SSID. I figure these can be changed too quickly and the information would be old eventually. I can easily add it... you think I should? How does NS know the brand too? I could add that but it seems there must be some way the program uses. Thanks.
