Perl > KML/KMZ

Hello all -

I have been working on a hack of the Perl script posted here by cloak [Summary File to Database with the intent of creating Google Earth files for display of my drives. The program has come along to the point of needing a rather large NS Summary file for testing and benchmarking. If some kind soul could email me a sample file it would be much appreciated. A file size from 1-3 meg would be optimum.

Once complete, the code will be posted here.

Thanks,
Woody

Why not just combine all of your drives into one big file? Why would you need Someone Else's file?

I am a bit new to this and currently have only a few small drives. I would hate to post a script that craps out on large files.

If your are just using the summary file to make the conversion, then take a text editor, the data you have and duplicate it until you have what you need.

How about posting the script and then letting someone tell you if it craps out or not with large files?

Is that a subliminal message?

What part of Texas? Every major metropolitan area should be fairly dense with AP's. It wouldn't be very hard to come up with a large file pretty quickly.

I think he is in the South Elpaso area. It should be pretty easy to rack up a large file using a supported card and operating environment.

Not to wonder any of our eyes still work after that Grand Canyon standing in your front yard pic you posted earlier.

Streaker started it. I was just following his mind control/programming expertise.

Wink

Never mind the files. I have received all that I need from a contact at Keyhole.

Thanks for the help - and the fun commentary.
