Question script to show AP range
Does any one know of a script that I can use to determin how far an AP is transmitting? I want to be able to walk around a building with netstumbler and then be able to use a script to map out the range the ap is transmitting.

I don't think there is any script that can do that for NS files. You might take a look at this thread. The gpsvisualizer site allows you to resize the plotted AP marker size according to signal ratio. This will give you an rough estimate of the range, but not a proper range survey.

If you want to be able to plot a proper range survey map, you should take a look at the *nix based kismet and associated gpsmap application.
