Be warned that NS 0.4's Atheros support is poor. Yes, it works, but the driver has the annoying habit of reporting everything it's seen in the last 2 minutes, rather than what it can see right now. NS 0.4 works around this but it may cause APs to appear and disappear.
Use an Atheros card in NDIS 5.1 mode to see it without the workaround. It's scary. |

Not sure why you are having issues. The broadcom chipset is now supported. Perhaps you could give some more details.

I got a problem with my WCI-CB-G54A card. When i go warbiking it finds the APs ok. But when i get back to my house, the green light next to some of the MAC numbers are on. But im not in range of those APs and my own network light is not on??
Can anybody help.. Thx |

Search for "two minutes" I think this is the problem you are referring to.

Marius answered that too somewhere, but I had trouble finding it in my search so I'll just paraphrase: 1. live with it 2. buy a different card 3. don't use netstumbler 4. something else i don't remember Search around and you shoudl find his exact quotes...but in a nutsell that is it.

The thread may have turned into a flame war and been moved. Let me see if I can find it and repost Marius' response verbatim. Give me a couple of minutes.
