Did a 1 hour drive today with NS 0.4 and a Linksys WPC11 v.4 card running their latest driver v. 5.158. Laptop is a Toshiba Tecra 9100. NS 0.4 worked great! Good job Marius! NS 0.4 is great for all of us without Orinoco cards. Now, where is that donate button.

USR5410 on win2k works only with downlevel drivers
US Robotics 802.11g Wireless Turbo Adapter USR805410.
The good news is NetStumbler sees the card as an NDIS 5.1 device if you are running the drivers packaged as USR11g_4.0q_919.exe on the USR website. Works fine, but misreporting the speed of my USR access point as 11Mbps. Bad news is the latest drivers on the USR website (USR11g_5.0j.exe) don't seem to provide NDIS, and NetStumbler reports the card as unsupported. The DELL TrueMobile 1300 works fine with Netstumbler v0.4 now!
Also the Proxim ORiNOCO 802.11b/g (with Atheros Chipset) is now working fine (use the drivers from WildPackets at http://www.wildpackets.com/support/downloads) Stefan ![]() |
