It comes with a satisfaction guarantee, if I'm not completely satisfied, I will refund your money.

Trouble is, I am usually satisfied when I have your money.

Please, oh please

There are times when I'm in big cities or dense rf areas where i get over 50+ APs at one moment in time. Sometimes netstumbler pulls through, and sometimes it crashes. There has been several situations where i missed 500+ networks because netstumbler crashed before the auto-save time was reached.

I'd really appreciate it if you'd throw in a box so we can modify the auto-save time.

Nice work on netstumbler!

There haven't been many requests for the "Master script" lately, so I could probably add auto-save functionality (based on seconds or detections or both). Just need to decide what configurable settings to make available and what rules/logic to use. If interested, follow-up there (not here).

Question 1 Hundredth of a second res. on Firstseen possible??

Just one simple request, is this possible?

- Firstseen & Lastseen time readout seconds to 1 / 100.

eg 11:34:26.637

Firstly, your example is in 1/1000, not 1/100.

Secondly, NetStumbler smallest scanning interval (according to 0.4.0's help file: User Interface, Configuration Dialog, General tab, Scan interval table) is 1/4 second. So one digit after the decimal point would be meaningful, but more than one digit would be misleading (it'd give a false sense of accuracy).

Third, NetStumbler seems to use the common Windows API for displaying times - going into the Control Panel's "Regional and Language Options" setting and changing the time results in a change in the NetStumbler display. If you can find a way to get tenths or hundredths or thousandths of seconds through this applet, NetStumbler will probably change to match.

Not a bad suggestion, but it seems unlikely.

This may sound stupid, and it may be an old suggestion, but how about a column, right next to "distance" with the bearing to the AP based on your current position?

Would make using netstumbler as a base tool before setting up a directional antenna a lot easier...

Care to explain exactly how NS would determine bearing with only one unit in play? To do triangulation, you would need at least three Units working in conjunction, and even then it would be inaccurate because of multipath and scatter.

It would be "just as (in)accurate" as the "distance" column, wouldn't it?

O.K., who let the bleach dispenser for the shallow end of the gene pool run out. I know it was the weekend, but damn, look at the tard blossom that has resulted. It looks like we need an official bleach duty schedule to prevent these idiots from spreading.

Sodium Hypochlorite does wonders. It's what we use here.

My wish is simply for a new version.

...with much more user customization/integration than what we have now.

Onsite generation or are you trucking it in?

All you need is salt, water, and electricity.

My wishes:

1. Delete all points without GPS

2. Option to prevent standby, screensaver, turn of screen.

3. Option to autosave every minute/ no. of networks.

4. Cleanup when merging with other utils NS1 exports. Example: WiFiFoFum2 puts clamps [] around channel numbers, would be nice to get rid of that.
