Huh. I pay $30 for fiber per month. It's only 3mb/300k for internet though. The cable signal is piped in on it as well and split out at the house. The total bill is about $80 for IP + cable including the taxes. I can get POTS sent over the PON box, (ATM based,) but I've stuck with copper POTS for backup to the cell phones. I did get them to lift the bandwidth limitation once for testing and at the time, it went to over 15mb/sec symetrical. (And that was before we upgraded our POP access to multiple 100mbit connections..)
