Re: discover WEP KEY
Quote:
smalldady, did you use the SEARCH button at the top of the page first? My guess is NO and OH HELL NO! Second, Netstumbler will not show you the WEP Key's. If you would've SEARCHED first, you would see that there are a few good tools for Linux that allows a person to do this after collecting Gigs of data. Now go SEARCH littledady

Yes I know there are tools on Linux it is all over the net. For Windows thought it seems that Netstumbler is the best one. But i was wondering if there are others.... how hard is it to answer a question or point to the proper direction as opposed to writing lenghty replies with harsh words. I am new in this wireless world, please don't hate the player...hate the game!
Thanks for taking the time to reply anyway guys...i don't want to create arguments with you guys I was just asking a question. Why biting my head off? |

Thanks Blade! I did search before asking this question...
I guess we are the only ones using Windows here...Now I know Microsoft Windows Operating system is not the best out there, but no need to be hostile agains all Bill Gates' Operating system users. |

We aren't being "hostile" because you use Windows. We are being "hostile" because you are unbelievably lazy.

yes i found airsnort for windows, was looking for something else that might actually work well... but there is nothing.
looks like i'm gonna try to get linux on here and dual boot as far as being the only way to really work with the data i understand windows isnt a very powerful tool when it comes down to doing the dirty stuff... but sometimes linux just isnt feasable, especially if you cant find linux drivers for your hardware... i have a compaq laptop and i bet this POS prob wont even boot a linux partition |

Man grow up. google has a wealth of knowledge. i've found that it is very effective when I type in the question word for word how I would ask in real life. I'm amazed at the results sometimes.
